It’s been a good year since I’ve been back and this time, I finally got to try those delectable meatballs.
With colours of blue, yellow and white, it’s still the same cosy and warm feeling that keeps me coming back.
They’re definitely a friendly bunch in Manly.
I was surprisingly delighted by this dish. The meatballs itself are packed full of flavour, cooked to perfection. However, it was even more delicious when I paired it with a small portion of the fig. The feta was smooth, not too strong and was thoroughly mixed in with the soft & chewy barley. I loved the nutty flavour from the almonds with the rest of the dish and hand a slight hint of freshness from the parsley.
The filling, beef and horseradish? Match made in heaven in my opinion. Though the baguette itself was a little tough and hard to eat. The pickled cucumbers were a tangy addition but was well received by the table.
I’d definitely suggest to purchase their Apple pie. Hello. Or their cinnamon bun. Double hello. Sugar Overload? Fuck it.
If you want, they also sell some Swedish snacks.
Always amazing Fika!
P.S,. Alice in Manly? You know what that means….More adventure photos to come! 🙂
Til next time!
