A family friendly cafe, Ruby’s Diner serves up organic food with a bonus of vegan and gluten- free desserts! Hurray!
With sky blue walls, tables outstretched on the pavement, with organic, fresh produce, it’s no wonder this cafe is so popular.
They also have a happy hour for cronuts…talk about advertising.
The chai itself was subtle but as fragrant as some of the other ones I have tried. Its definitely good for those who like less spices. Definitely needed honey to bring out those flavours.
Beetroot, quinoa salad with housemade ricotta and grapefruit dressing
The dressing was super tangy and zingy which was balanced out by the smooth and creamy ricotta on the plate. Needed more of that!! The chicken was cooked perfectly and was a blend of perfection.
Fluffy burger buns are my downfall. Though this one had a peculiar taste to it. Not a bad thing though, it was slightly sweeter than a usual burger bun ! Juicy beetroot, succulent beef, sharp cheddar cheese which was only accentuated the fresh flavours even more. Boy, I love fresh ingredients.
Gluten free, vegan, refined sugar free. A ferrero- rocher tasting cake? I’m in.
Til next time!
