This Melbourne-esque cafe sits on Commonwealth Street in Surry Hills and boasts incredible wallpaper which features something that resembles a train line, a mo and evolution of man.

Dimly lit with only natural light cascading through the windows, it is extremely easy to become lost in conversations and coffee.

Strong and nutty depth of flavour is brought out in the coffee with a caramel after-taste. Gorgeous!

Although their menu is quite small, it does have the classics of omelettes, avocado on toast and pasta of the day.

Smashed Avocado with poached egg, tomato & goat’s cheese.

My poached egg (extra 2.5) wasn’t as runny as I liked but nonetheless, flavour combinations were great. The balsamic vinegar was on the sweeter side and brought out the flavour of the goats cheese.

It definitely has a Melbourne vibe and well, I can’t wait to go back to try some more things!

I miss Melbourne now.
